CAD 1 is a survey class exploring the fundamentals of computer-aided design. This class will use both two-dimensional and three-dimensional drafting concepts and practices to permit students to move from an idea to a practical drawing. Students will design practical items including graphic design, technical drawing, and architectural planning and landscaping. This is an introductory class designed to create a basic understanding of the computer-aided drafting and design process. This class will require the creation of a portfolio.
